SETH O’DONNELL

Physiotherapist

Seth O’Donnell is a physiotherapist with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy with Honours and an elite Australian distance runner who brings a unique high performance perspective to rehabilitation, injury prevention, and physical performance. As a national champion and Australian representative in the 5000m and 10,000m, Seth has extensive firsthand experience managing the physical demands of high level training and competition, and applies this insight directly within his clinical work.

Seth has a strong clinical interest in running related injuries, including tendon pain, bone stress injuries, load management, and return to running after injury. He works closely with runners of all levels, from beginners through to elite competitors, helping them understand training loads, build resilience, and optimise performance while reducing injury risk. His approach combines evidence based physiotherapy with practical performance understanding, focusing on precise diagnosis, progressive loading, movement efficiency, and long term development rather than short term symptom relief.

While running is a key area of expertise, Seth also treats a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions including spinal pain, joint and soft tissue injuries, strength and movement deficits, and post injury rehabilitation. He works with both athletes and general population patients, aiming to help people move better, feel stronger, and return confidently to the activities that matter most to them.

Seth’s dual background in physiotherapy and elite sport allows him to bridge the gap between rehabilitation and performance, ensuring patients leave not only pain free but physically prepared for the demands of sport, work, and everyday life.
