BENN LOGAN

CEO, Sports & Exercise Physiotherapist, MACP

Benn Logan, CEO of PhysiPro and an APA Titled Sports & Exercise Physiotherapist, founded PhysiPro Chelsea, formally Chelsea Longbeach Physiotherapy, 20 years ago. Growing up in Melbourne’s south east, Benn would often visit the beautiful Chelsea beach on those hot summer days, unbeknown to him to he would eventually establish a well-renowned business there years later.

Benn has over 20 years experience working in private practice and obtained both a Masters in Physiotherapy and his Sports & Exercise Physiotherapy degree from the University of Melbourne. Benn was a high level footballer and cricketer himself, and recovered from two ACL knee reconstructions to become Eastern Football League’s Division 1 Best Player. Whilst trying to still play, Benn’s physiotherapy career continued to grow, becoming the Head Physiotherapist at Casey Scorpions VFL from 2003-2006, then a part time physiotherapist for St Kilda FC AFL 2007-2008 and eventually a full time physiotherapist for Melbourne football club AFL from 2009-2011. In 2018 Benn also worked as a Physiotherapist at the Gold Coast Commonwealth Games in the Athletic Village.

Since 2012 Benn has focused on creating a strong and loyal private practice business in Chelsea. Through his long standing reputation in the AFL local community Benn was approached in 2020 to head up the medical team in the AFL’s leading junior football pathway program the Dandenong Stingrays football club. From this the unmissable opportunity to take up residency at The Healthy Futures Hub, St Kilda Football Club’s repurposed training base, came about.  In partnering with St Kilda Football Club, Benn and his co-directors David Beakley and Anton Pilli, PhysiPro Athletic was founded.

In Benn’s free time, he enjoys spending time with his wife and three children in Bentleigh. He is coaching his daughter’s U12 Girls football team and is the Vice President and coaching co-ordinator of St Paul’s McKinnon Junior Football Club. Benn and his family have a passion for caravanning and were lucky enough to be travelling Australia in lockdown 2021 and were at the 2021 AFL Grand Final in Perth to watching his beloved Melbourne Demons win the Premiership.
