ALISTAIR MORTON

Physiotherapist

Alistair is a physiotherapist with extensive experience in the assessment and management of sports-related musculoskeletal injuries.

He completed his Doctor of Physiotherapy at The University of Melbourne, following a Bachelor of Exercise Science from La Trobe University. His background in strength and conditioning underpins a structured, exercise-based approach to rehabilitation, supporting safe and effective return to sport and performance.

Alistair is currently undertaking a Master of Sports Physiotherapy, reflecting his commitment to evidence-based practice and ongoing professional development in high-performance sport.

He has worked extensively within elite and sub-elite Australian Rules Football, including roles in Performance Analysis and Sport Science at the Carlton Football Club (AFL) and as Head Physiotherapist at the Dandenong Stingrays (NAB League). Alistair is currently the Head Physiotherapist at the Williamstown Football Club (VFL).

His clinical interest areas include:

  • Traumatic knee injuries – ACL, PCL, MCL and meniscal injuries
  • Traumatic ankle injuries – lateral ankle sprains, syndesmotic injuries and fractures
  • Muscle strains – hamstring, quadricep and calf
  • Bone stress injuries
  • Lower limb tendinopathies
  • Hip and groin pain
  • Osteoarthritis – knee and hip
  • Post-operative shoulder rehabilitation
