Alistair Wallace
Senior Strength & Conditioning Coach
Alistair brings a diverse background of experience in strength and conditioning to PhysiPro Athletic. Studying undergraduate in Exercise Science at Victoria University and holding level 2 accreditation with Australian Strength and Conditioning association.
After owning and operating multiple performance gyms on the peninsula, Alistair moved to Brighton Grammar and spent 4 years being a strength and conditioning coach with Rowing, Rugby, Football, Tennis, Cricket, AFL and swimming at the school, before moving into an interim position as Director of Rowing. A highlight of Brighton was being a part of the first Head of the River win for Brighton in 37 years.
Growing up at Langwarrin Soccer Club led to football becoming an intergral part of his career, starting as a sport science/strength and conditioning intern with the Victorian state team in 2014, then moving to FC 11 as S+C. He has worked with Dandenong Thunder, Langwarrin and Oakleigh Cannons in the NPL senior men’s programs and Bayside United senior women’s NPL, as well as his most recent tenure with the Sports Clinic of Football.
Alistair’s passion in S+C is rehab, return to play and also youth athletic development. Outside of S+C he loves to play golf and is a member at Mornington Golf Club. He has two boys – Cooper who is two and Owen who is six months old, Deeks the cavoodle and an incredible partner, Stephanie.
