ALISTAIR MORTON
Physiotherapist
Alistair has a clinical interest in sporting injuries of the lower limb including pre- and post-operative rehabilitation for ACL reconstructions, tendinopathies, muscle strains and ankle ligament sprains. In addition, Alistair is passionate about evidenced-based management of hip and knee osteoarthritis.
Prior to undertaking his Doctor of Physiotherapy at The University of Melbourne, Alistair worked in strength and conditioning for several years after attaining his Bachelor of Exercise Science from La Trobe University. Alistair has an extensive history working in elite and sub-elite Australian rules football. He has worked in Performance Analysis and Sport Science at the Carlton Football Club (AFL) and Sports Training at the Williamstown Football Club (VFL).
He is currently working as a Physiotherapist at the Dandenong Stingrays in the NAB League when he is not treating at Chelsea Longbeach Physiotherapy. In the coming years, Alistair plans to undertake additional post-graduate training in Sports and Exercise Physiotherapy.
Outside of work, Alistair enjoys keeping active through running, swimming, cycling and strength training. Alistair is a foodie that loves exploring Melbourne’s restaurants and bars on the weekend.
